Hal Cruttenden was nominated for the prestigious Perrier Newcomer Award back in 2002, and is a three-time Chortle Award nominee.

As well as performing here in the UK, he has toured the world extensively, performing at oversea events such as the Melbourne Comedy Festival, the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, and the New Zealand Comedy Festival.

He has also toured countries including Belgium, Bermuda, Germany, India, Ireland, the Middle East, the Netherlands, and Norway.

His tours include ‘Chubster’ in 2020, ‘Straight Outta Cruttenden’ in 2015/16, ‘Tough Luvvie’, in 2013/14, ‘The Tiny Rage Tour’ in 2011, and ‘Lively’ in 2010.

His latest tour ‘It’s Best You Hear it From Me’ started in 2022.

ACTING

Whilst best known for his comedy, Hal actually originally trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama as an actor.

His acting credits include TV and Film roles in Unleaded (2014), The Omid Djalili Show (2007), Shackleton (2002), Bramwell (1998), Touching Evil (1998), Kavanagh QC (1998), Mrs Dalloway (1997), Eastenders (1996), and Out of the Blue (1996).

He has also appeared on stage, acting in the ‘Orwell a Celebration’ show at Trafalgar Studios, London and at the Edinburgh Festival.
