Alexis Dubus studied Philosophy and Psychology at the University of Warwick, where he became part of the sketch troupe Ubersausage. He also studed Le Jeu and Clowning at École Philippe Gaulier under master clown Philippe Gaulier.

In 2003, he set up the Falling Down with Laughter Comedy Club in London Bridge with fellow comedian Sy Thomas, where it ran until 2010. He is also a board member of The Alternative Comedy Memorial Society. He has performed in many countries, including Australia, Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Jersey, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Russia, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, USA, and Vietnam.

As a stand-up comedian, he has appeared on John Bishop’s 2014 Christmas show, Russell Howard’s Good News, Live at the Electric, alongside various stand-up shows on Comedy Central. He has also appeared on New Zealand TV on Best Bits and 7 Days.

Alexis Dubus | Marcel Lucont

Marcel is an internationally renowned comedy and cabaret performer who deadpan delivery and world-class sex poetry has gained him much global critical acclaim.

He has released three albums of original songs and poetry, and in 2011, Marcel published his book, What We French Think of You British…And Where You Are Going Wrong.

For his 10th year at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, he performed with a live band and was named one of the Top 10 Shows at the festival by The Telegraph. Marcel won the Chortle Award in 2015, the Mervyn Stutter’s Spirit of the Fringe Award in 2013, the 2013 Fringe World Best Comedy Show, Best Kids Show 2022, the Amused Moose Comedy Award 2012, and was nominated for the Best International Guest at  the 2016 New Zealand Comedy Guild.
