More About
Sanderson Jones, alongside fellow comedian Pippa Evans, formed The Sunday Assembly, a gathering which celebrated life through talks, comedy and songs. Since its conception, the idea has gone viral and there are now 28 Assemblies worldwide. Although not classified as a religious gathering, The Sunday Assembly is now included on the GCSE syllabus for Religious Education.
Sanderson has appeared on BBC Radio 4 and worked as a film critic for England’s longest-running women’s magazine, The Lady, from 2009-2011.
Prior to comedy, he sold advertising at The Economist, where he was seconded to their digital skunkworks Project Red Stripe as a digital creative, before choosing the world of stand-up over online start-ups.
He has received a Malcolm Hardee Awards nomination and a nomination for the Chortle Award for Innovation.
