Kiri Pritchard-McLean is a multi-award-winning Welsh comedian, satirist, and writer who doesn’t shy away from tackling thorny subjects with humour and grace, often in a deeply personal way.

As well as recently embarking on her biggest tour to date, she has hosted Live at the Apollo, appeared on Have I Got News For You, QI, and 8 Out of 10 Cats, and is now the host of her own Radio 4 panel show, Best Medicine.

Kiri is a co-creator and co-host of the All Killa No Filla podcast about serial killers that has a gigantic global following.

Welsh comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean has performed for several consecutive at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has won half a dozen Chortle Awards. Her writing and directing credits include being one fifth of the sketch group Tarot and directing a monologue for The Old Vic starring Susan Wokoma.

She has performed at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Greenman Festival, Leeds Festival, and Latitude Festival.

She is a familiar face on our TV screens, appearing on QI, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, Blankety Blank, Would I Lie To You, Hypothetical, Pointless Celebrities, and The Russell Howard Hour.

She is also a regular on the radio with her own specialist comedy show for BBC Radio Wales. She has also presented Newsjack, Loose Ends, and The News Quiz, and is the host of the panel show Best Medicine. This radio 4 panel show takes the very best scientists, doctors, historians, and comedians, and asks them, “What is the best medicine?” The show was nominated for Best Comedy Panel Show at the British Comedy Awards and was nominated for an Aria in its first series.

During lockdown, Kiri hosted Live From the Covid Arms, an online comedy gig that was sighted as a Cultural Highlight of 2020 by The Telegraph. It was also recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s largest online pub and together they raised over £150,000 for food banks.

Kiki is involved in several popular podcasts, including:

All Killa No Filla: A podcast about serial killers that she co-hosts with Rachel Fairburn. The podcast’s live adaptation sold out The Leicester Square Theatre in minutes and toured the United States.

Who Are You Wearing: A long-form interview podcast about fashion where Kiri chats to activists, comedians, celebrities, and designers about fashion. Guests have included Poorna Bell, Desiree Burch, Giovanna Fletcher, Siobhán McSweeney, Michelle McManus, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Jo Brand, Suzi Ruffell, Susan Calman, Tom Allen, Lolly Adefope, and Sindhu Vee.

The Pod of Wales: Co-hosted with Esyllt Sears, this is a comedy travel podcast where they become tourists in their own country.
