Ed Night’s debut show at Edinburgh Fringe Festival came in 2017, and saw him become one of the youngest ever nominees for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer, and netted him a position as co-host of BBC Radio 1’s first piece of comedy commissioning for a decade. In the same year, Ed was nominated for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award.

His 2018 show, ‘An Aesthetic’, sold out its entire run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and he also took it to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, where he featured in their prestigious opening night gala on ABC. His follow up show received widespread critical acclaim and was awarded ‘Pick of the Edinburgh Fringe’ by critics from The Times and The Scotsman. His debut tour ‘Rise and Smile’ began in his hometown of Streatham and took in venues up and down the UK and in mainland Europe.

He is also a comedy writer, working on shows such as The Mash Report, 8 Out of 10 Cats, The News Quick, Mock the Week, and Roast Battle. He has appeared as an actor in BBC 3’d Zen Motoring, Channel 4’s Complaints Department, and BBC Radio 4’s Icklewick FM. His acting roles have seen him appear alongside the likes of Helena Bonham-Carter, John Boyega, and Matthew MacFadyen.

Ed is now available for corporate working, including as an awards host, brand ambassador, cabaret act, corporate comedian, panellist, and live speaker.
