Alun Cochrane has appeared on a number of popular TV panel and comedy shows including Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Russell Howard’s Good News, Dave’s One Night Stand, Mock the Week, Room 101, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, Live at the Comedy Store, Have I Got News For You) and 8 Out of 10 Cats).
Alun made his Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2004 with My Favourite Words in My Best Stories, followed by Comedy with Sad Bits in 2005 and Introducing an Introduction to Alun’s Imagination.
He presented Alun Cochrane.

As well as appearing on our screens as a natural comedian, he has shown off his acting skills on well-loved sitcoms, soaps and entertainment programmes such as Trying Again, Always and Everyone, What the Dickens?, Coronation Street, Boomers, A Gert Lush Christmas and the BBC mockumentary series Hospital People.

ALUN COCHRANE – RADIO
Between 2009 and 2022, he was a co-host on The Frank Skinner Show on Absolute Radio alongside Frank himself and presenter Emily Dean.
The show gained him a 2012 Arqiva Award nomination for Best Newcomer, as well as a Sony Award in 2011 for Best Entertainment Programme.
He is a regular voice on BBC Radio 4’s The Comedy Club, as well as The Now Show and Just a Minute, Fighting Talk, Alun Cochrane’s Fun House, The News Quiz, Loose Ends and Lee Mack and Friends.
He has also presented stand-up specials for BBC Radio 4 including ‘Alun Cochrane: Centrist Dad?’ in 2021.
