After graduating from the University of Sussex – where she met fellow comedian Cariad Lloyd – she worked as an actor and supplemented her income as a tour guide.

She dipped her toe into the world of comedy in 2007, and by the following year she had been named a runner-up in the Funny Women award of 2008.

She performed her first Edinburgh Fringe Festival show in 2010 titled ‘Sara Pascoe vs Her Ego’. She returned to Edinburgh in 2015 with her new show ‘Sara Pascoe vs History’. She went on tour with the show, which had been nominated for the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Comedy Show. She has also appeared doing stand-up on Live at the Apollo and at the Up the Creek comedy club.

She was a hit, and her comedy career has since gone on leaps and bounds, and she is now regularly seen on comedy panel shows on television.
